Private Membership Association

Statement of Private Association, Purpose, and Member Rights

A Private Membership of Association and Education

Our Private Membership Association is founded upon the fundamental principles of private association, individual liberty, freedom of conscience, and the right of individuals to voluntarily assemble, communicate, educate one another, and pursue their own understanding of health and wellness.

The PMA is structured as a private membership association in which individuals voluntarily associate for a common purpose. The Membership functions much like a private family: the PMA serves as the private association, its creator serves as its steward, and those who voluntarily execute the membership agreement become members of the association.

Membership is established through voluntary agreement and mutual consent. By becoming a member, an individual acknowledges the private nature and purpose of the association and agrees to respect its governing principles, bylaws, standards, and membership requirements.

Constitutional Principles

The philosophy underlying this Association is rooted in the historic American principles of individual liberty and the right of free people to associate voluntarily without unnecessary governmental interference. These principles are reflected in the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, the Constitution for the United States of America, and the Bill of Rights, including the principles of freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, freedom of association, and the right of individuals to pursue life, liberty, and personal well-being.

The PMA exists as an expression of these principles of private association. Its purpose is to provide a private forum in which members may communicate, exchange information, receive education, and explore matters of health and wellness according to their own conscience and judgment.

The Association recognizes that participation in a private association does not eliminate or supersede applicable law. Rather, the PMA seeks to exercise the lawful rights of private individuals to associate, communicate, learn, and make personal decisions concerning their own lives and well-being.

Health, Wellness, and Freedom of Choice

The Association recognizes that health and wellness are deeply personal matters. We believe individuals should have access to a broad range of educational information concerning the care and support of the body, mind, and spirit. Our philosophy emphasizes natural and holistic approaches to wellness and encourages members to become educated about nutrition, lifestyle, traditional practices, natural substances, and other approaches that may support overall well-being.

The Association is not established for the purpose of practicing medicine, diagnosing disease, prescribing medication, or replacing licensed medical or dental professionals. Educational information provided through the PMA is intended to encourage informed personal inquiry and responsible decision-making.

Members retain responsibility for determining what information is appropriate for them and for seeking qualified professional advice when appropriate.

Private Educational Exchange

Within the scope of the PMA's educational mission, members may receive information concerning a broad range of natural substances, foods, nutritional compounds, traditional wellness practices, topical preparations, and technologies or devices associated with health and wellness.

Such subjects may include, without limitation:
 * Natural and whole foods;
 * Vitamins, minerals, herbs, enzymes, phytonutrients, and other nutritional substances;
 * Traditional and natural approaches to supporting wellness;
 * Raw or whole foods and dairy products;
 * Creams, lotions, salves, and other topical preparations;
 * Water and air quality and related wellness practices;
 * Light, color, sound, vibration, magnetism, electricity, ozone, and other forms of energy or technology used in wellness practices; and
 * Emerging, traditional, complementary, or alternative approaches that may not be part of conventional medical practice.

The Ministry may also provide educational material concerning products, substances, procedures, and wellness approaches that have varying levels of scientific evidence, regulatory status, or acceptance within conventional healthcare.

The purpose of such education is not to represent that any particular substance, product, procedure, or approach is universally effective or appropriate. Rather, members are given the opportunity to examine information, consider differing perspectives, conduct their own research, and make personal decisions consistent with their own conscience and circumstances.

Freedom to Examine Alternative Perspectives

The Association believes that meaningful informed choice requires the freedom to examine perspectives that may differ from conventional or prevailing medical opinions. Accordingly, PMA education may include discussion of potential risks, limitations, controversies, and adverse effects associated with certain conventional medical or dental procedures, materials, medications, and interventions.

Topics may include, among other things, concerns that have been expressed regarding mercury-containing dental materials, root canal procedures, pharmaceutical interventions, and other medical or dental practices. Where appropriate, the Ministry may also provide information regarding alternative or complementary approaches that members may wish to research and discuss with appropriately qualified healthcare or dental professionals.

The purpose of this educational exchange is to expand the information available to members—not to direct a member toward a particular medical decision.

Personal Responsibility and Informed Consent

The PMA recognizes each member as an individual possessing personal responsibility for his or her own choices concerning health and wellness.

No educational material provided by the Association should be understood as a diagnosis, prescription, or individualized medical or dental treatment recommendation. Members are encouraged to evaluate information carefully, consider credible evidence, understand potential risks and benefits, and consult appropriately qualified professionals when circumstances warrant.

Each member remains responsible for his or her own decisions, actions, and choices.

Our Foundational Commitment

The PMA Ministry exists to preserve a private environment for voluntary association, education, communication, personal responsibility, and the exploration of natural and holistic approaches to wellness.

We believe that informed individuals should be free to ask questions, examine differing viewpoints, pursue knowledge, and make conscientious decisions concerning their own lives and well-being.

Our commitment is to provide our members with a private educational community founded upon voluntary association, freedom of conscience, personal responsibility, and respect for the inherent dignity and liberty of every individual.

**The PMA is a private membership association established to serve its members through education, fellowship, communication, and the lawful exercise of private association.**
